Tillamook County – Phase 2

Manzanita is located in Tillamook county which is currently in Phase 2. This allows for reopening of recreational sports, but indoor social get-togethers are capped at 10 people with physical distancing. We will spend time as a group outside.

Group Safety Measures

Masks, face shields, or face coverings are required for indoor spaces
Each person will sleep in their own room or 12+ feet away from the next individual with windows open
Keep the drinking outdoors
No shared food or drinks
Use hand sanitizer as often as you can.

Golf Course Etiquette

The course asks that we arrive one foursome at a time and that we not congregate around the 9th green. We'll announce teams at the main house and send groups off one by one. Sadly, we have to forgo the heckling on the 9th.

Bathroom Usage

Please wear a mask in the restrooms, and when possible, use the facilities outdoors by peeing off the deck, behind the house, or somewhere else. On top of washing your hands, we will have hand sanitizer available throughout the house.

Sleeping Arrangements

Lanier and Reid already share an apartment and are assigned to the bunk room together. Burke has volunteered to join them in a questionable gesture of ignorance. Everyone else is sleeping in their own room or is spaced 12+ feet from another person with the windows open.

Showing Symptoms – COVID-19

If you are experiencing any symptoms, please do not come.

Studies indicate that a significant population of COVID-19 patients are asymptomatic. This may indicate the virus' fatality rate is lower than previously estimated. Unfortunately, it also means you could be carrying the virus without knowing and risk passing it to someone who will experience debilitating and potentially fatal symptoms.

If you believe you have been exposed to the virus, please seek out testing before the trip. Even if you do not believe you have been exposed, please get your temperature taken to verify you are not mildly feverish.
