Jimmy Hennessy Has Little Gesture Ready To Go In Case Anyone Looks in His Direction
Manzanita 2012 – Saying he had the flourish on hand the moment it was needed, Jimmy Hennessy told reporters Friday that he has a little diddy ready to go in case anyone looks in his direction.
'If someone, and I mean anyone, decides to make eye contact or even gaze in the general vicinity of where I am standing, I’ll work in a little head nod and then really light it up with a smirky side-eyed smile at the end,' said Hennessy, adding that as soon as someone turned toward him, he was fully prepared to grace the person with a chin up acknowledgement, and maybe even 'throw a wink in there.'
Hennessy paused as he unsuccessfully attempted to fist bump James Meyer in passing.
'I can probably use the same gesture on a number of people without anyone being any the wiser,' continued Hennessy, adding 'and then I’ll be absolutely primed for a sweet little embellishment, and I could even add in a shoulder movement now that I think of it — oh man, they’re going to love it when I do the shoulder thing.'
At press time, Hennessy was quietly devastated as twenty minutes of deck time had passed with everyone seemingly entertained by things other than himself.
