Weather Update
The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado hit Manzanita on October 14, 2016. Locals are dubbing the storm 'Hurricane Austin', a namesake in reference to a crazed tourist that drunkenly terrorizes the coastal town each summer.
'It did appear to have a thick neck,' local sources said about the twister. Weather service crews surveyed the impact to the area noting no damages to Cloud City or Echo Base.
Fortunately for close friends Pat Bullock and Jeremy Pfarr, Hurricane Austin also spared the San Dune.
