Sam Hoffman Takes Liberty of Ordering $150 Worth of Appetizers for Entire Table
Speaking up on behalf of the six-person group that wandered into San Dune Pub Friday afternoon, Sam Hoffman reportedly took it upon himself to order a wide selection of appetizers totaling approximately $150.
'Yeah, let’s get a dozen oyster shooters, a couple plates of chili cheese fries, and a few baskets of chicken strips. Oh what the hell, add a prawn cocktail,' Hoffman was overheard telling the waitress, neglecting to consult the other members of his party before committing them to the large assortment of pre-lunch fare.
‘We’re all splitting this, and Lantz, you’ve got me, right brü?’ Hoffman informed the table before confidantly returning his attention to the server.
'Before you go, miss… miss, please add two plates of tacos, and are the french fries or tots better? You know, how about you just bring us one of each? And we’re also gonna start off with a few pitchers of Rainier to share, and I'll have a top shelf Gimlet.'
At press time, the rest of the table watched helplessly as Hoffman was hectoring them about paying their fair share before asking to see a dessert menu.
