Reporter Asks Daschel Some Questions
The months-long buildup to the weekend trip can start to feel like a grind for reporters covering all the breaking stories. That's why some resort to silly stunts and pranks, such as one reporter, who asked Daschel a question.
After weeks of serious coverage, it was adorable watching Daschel realize the question was directed at him. But that kind of zany, unpredictable nonsense is kind of what Manzanita is all about.
'Who me? Uh, yeah. I'm doing well. Thanks for asking,' shrugged Daschel through widely opened eyes, obviously taken aback by the question of 'How're you doing, Dasch?'
The other reporters all started to laugh when they realized what the jokester correspondent had pulled. And as Bryan Leslie shot over a death stare, the reporter kept a straight face and even managed to ask a follow up: 'So Chris ... excited for the trip this year?'
Classic.
