Conversation Around Fire Devolves Into Just Stating Things Old Barnes Used to Do

After two hours in which they discussed a variety of routine topics with waning enthusiasm, the group's fireside conversation reportedly devolved late night into simple observations about what their friend Kevin Barnes used to do.

'Hey, remember when Barnes would get all up in your face?' shared one person staring intensely into the bursting flames, the raging fire mirrored in their eyes like a reflection of their own burning nostalgia.

The topic of old Barnes struck a chord, eliciting multiple comments from the remaining gallery, who sources confirmed had exhausted their playful banter over stories from years' past.

'He was so loud and full of life,’ piped up another. ‘I’d love just once more to see old Barnes make a scene. He loved making a spectacle out of ripping somebody apart in front of a crowd.'

‘And we loved him for it!’ offered someone else.

'Old Barnes was so full of energy. There was an air of danger about him,' declared a fourth as flames licked upwards into the dark sky, a flickering reminder of the fragility of life and the suddenness with which everything can change forever.

'He was really exciting. It's too bad he's not like that anymore.'

'Yeah, I never thought he’d take such a hard left turn.’

‘What was that game he loved to play? Where we’d go around in a circle?’

‘That was the best! echoed a chorus of voices as the group recalled fond memories of old Barnes spontaneously mocking their primary sensitivities.

At press time, the group's conversation had reportedly further devolved into speculations upon what old Barnes would say to new Barnes.
