Austin Lanier Cowers Below Sand Dune As David Leslie Closes In

‘PLEASE’

After 3 minutes on the run down a moonlit shoreline, a bloodied and exhausted Austin Lanier reportedly cowered under an embankment of windswept sand dune as David Leslie closed in on him.

According to reports, Lanier has spent the past few minutes sprinting across an uneven sandscape, but he has not been able to shake the determined Leslie brother.

'Please, God, let me make it out of this alive,' Lanier whispered to himself, trying to quiet his ragged breathing as Leslie frantically searched the ground just above the crescent shadow where he lay hiding. 'Please.'

'… Trying to quiet his ragged breathing …'

SPOTTED

According to Jack Reid, the chase began around 9:00 PM after Lanier was selectively targeted by the younger, more physically fit Leslie. Upon bolting away from the fire, Lanier was said to have evaded several roman candle shots by dodging and weaving toward the water, and created separation when Leslie slowed to light up another stick.

However, reports suggest Leslie was quickly able to pick up Lanier’s scent due to recent cannabis usage and discovered a torn piece of worn out board shorts in the sand onto which Lanier fell after tripping over a piece of driftwood and badly twisted his ankle.

‘HE’S NOT COMING BACK‘

Now hobbled, Lanier is believed to have spent several moments lying motionless in a dark spot on the beach, hidden by the crest of a dune, only to be frightened into motion again by the sound of Leslie’s sudden approach.

'What do you want from me?!' Lanier shouted into the wind as sparks flew dangerously overhead.

At press time, Leslie was reportedly charging toward Lanier, who, standing at the edge of the ocean and seeing no better option, leapt into the freezing cold surf.
