THE MANZANITA INVITATIONAL

The chief objective of the Manzanita Invitational is to stage a golf show that is enjoyable to all – patrons, player guests, and interested golfers generally. We would also like, if we can, to contribute something to the advancement of the game.

This is what we came for, and while the field includes a group of elite golfers from around the world, the favorite has to be James Meyer.

Tee off at 1:30 PM on Friday afternoon.

DAY 2

Tee off at 9:00 AM on Saturday morning.

TIEBREAK

  • Saturday afternoon - TBD

  • Sudden Death Playoff

  • Starting on Hole 1

FORMAT

DROP OUT SCRAMBLE

  • All players tee off, the player whose ball is selected 'drops out' for the next shot. The dropout process continues through the green.

  • No mulligans

  • Teams must use a minimum of one drive per player per nine holes.

  • Teams may use a maximum of four drive per player per nine holes.

PRIZES & AWARDS

HOLE 5 - LONGEST DRIVE

  • Must be in the fairway, on the fringe, on the green, or in the hole.

HOLE 6 - CLOSEST TO THE PIN

  • Must be on the green or in the hole.
